Life is hard. There’s no doubt about that. I hear the saying, what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. I have to agree with that because if it wasn’t for all the BS that I went through growing up I don’t think I’d be the man I am today. Now I am not saying that I lived on the streets or that I ever starved, thank God I was fortunate enough in that aspect, but my life wasn’t all roses and good things either.
In order to strive and push forward one must let go of the past and prioritize what’s important in the now. Why ponder and waste breath on the what transpired yesterday if it will not affect your tomorrow. Let the little things go. Let the daily stress and problems melt away and just breathe.
I think I do well enough alone with splitting and prioritizing my time between a full time job, a beautiful wife, beautiful children, my side business Ace Ink Printing, and finding the time to write short stories, poetry and a novel that I am currently working on. Anything to push forward and keep me busy and productive at every moment. A minute wasted is a minute that you’ll never get back.
Find a hobby, side job, or anything that will keep you occupied so you can feel accomplished, happy, and excited to start another day.
