Sometimes we just want to run away, even if for a brief moment.
Sometimes the world becomes too much to bear, too much to handle. It’s okay to take some time for yourself. It’s okay to go home, throw on a pair of PJ’s, wrap yourself in your favorite blanket and vegitate in front of the television for a little while. It’s okay to play video games or read a book in silence or cook or write or do whatever it is you feel the need to.
We do not need to suffocate in our daily lives, our daily responsibilities, even though at times it seems that is the only option.
Please remember to take a moment to breathe, a moment to step back and just decompress. Cry if you need to. Scream. Just let it out and regroup. Take a “me” day and recharge your mental state.
