So as some of you may or may not know I started woodworking a couple of months back. It all started with me needing a dining room table (come to think of it I never posted pictures. I will…eventually) and wanting something that was a little bit out of my price range. I looked and researched and came to the conclusion that A. I needed to make more money haha or B. hmmm why don’t I just build it?
Thus began my plunge into making my own furniture which I think is pretty satisfying. So far I’ve made my dining room table (posting soon), my coffee table, my L-Shaped Office Desk, my Aquarium Stand, my Entertainment Center Wall and now my entryway Console Table. Come to think of it I should really have been more detailed while building and I shall be posting pictures of all of these soon!!!
I wish I would’ve taken more pictures of the process but the main idea came from Ana White from here Rustic X Console Table. I wanted to tackle another woodworking project and wanted an entryway table that I could put randomness on and have a place to throw my keys and mail as well. I kicked ideas around and settled on a variation of this table because it fits the style of my house and I would be able to build it myself. A win/win in my book.
Below are the only pictures I took of the process. I know, I know! I should’ve documented better. Oh well. This is becoming a trend. Maybe I’ll record myself next time I build something?
